The Pre School at Comorin International School provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment designed to support early childhood learning and development.
The Pre School at Comorin International School is designed to lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning by focusing on the developmental needs of young children. Early childhood education plays a crucial role in shaping a child’s cognitive, emotional, and social growth, and the school provides a supportive environment where children feel safe, confident, and encouraged to explore.
At the Pre School of Comorin International School, learning is approached through age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and communication. The curriculum emphasises basic literacy, numeracy, motor skills, and social interaction, helping children develop essential skills at a comfortable pace. Structured routines combined with play-based learning ensure that children enjoy the learning process while building independence and self-confidence.
Qualified and caring educators guide students through their early learning journey with patience and attention. The Pre School at Comorin International School focuses on individual development, recognising that every child learns differently. Teachers create a positive classroom environment where children are encouraged to express themselves, interact with peers, and develop healthy habits.
Safety and well-being are given high priority within the pre-school environment. Classrooms are designed to be child-friendly, secure, and engaging. Daily activities support emotional development, cooperation, and positive behaviour, preparing children for a smooth transition into primary schooling.
The Pre School at Comorin International School also values strong partnerships with parents. Open communication ensures that families remain informed about their child’s progress and development. By nurturing curiosity, confidence, and foundational skills, the school aims to prepare young learners for future academic success within a caring and structured environment.
Preschool comprises the Pre-Kindergarten, Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten. The curriculum followed in these levels is play-based and involves learning through observation and experiential learning through first-hand experiences. This leads to developing sensory perceptions which triggers both the creative and intellectual faculties of the child. Languages and literacy development are facilitated with children listening and responding to rhymes and stories as they have ample opportunities to interact with teachers. Rhymes are a socially engaging, playful and a developmentally appropriate way for young children to hear, identify and experiment with the sounds of language.
